How quickly will I tan?People will tan at different speeds depending on their skin type. Some people will notice a difference within a day or so, for others, it may take a week or more. The important thing is to be aware of how your skin usually reacts to sunlight and act accordingly with your exposure on the sunbed. It's far better to spend a little time on the sunbed and build your tan up gradually then to take a large hit of UV light all in one go. This is where the convenience of home hire triumphs over visiting a salon as it gives you more control for a healthier tan.
-
I've heard sunbeds are bad for your skin?Damaged skin and subsequent skin conditions are the results of overexposure which can come from improper use of sunbeds or too much time in the sun. If you practice safe sunbathing both in the sun and with a sunbed your skin will not only tan but receive benefits from the increased vitamin D. Different people have different skin types and so react to the sun in different ways. You need to be aware of your skin type and how you usually react to the sun and act accordingly when using a sunbed. This will ensure you stay safe, don't spent too long under the bed and risk overexposure.
